Itinerary for Jeep
safari Tour in Corbett National Park:
Day - 01 : Delhi:
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi :
On arrival met at the airport and transfer to
the hotel. O/N stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi/Kathgodam:
Full day sightseeing tour of Delhi,including India
Gate,Qutab Minar,Humayun's tomb, Raj Ghat, Red
Fort along with a driving past view of Lutyen's
President's House, Evening transfer to the station
time to catch train for kathgodam, O/N stay on
Board.
Day 03: Kathgodam-Nainital
(Pangot):
Morning Arrive Kathgodam (railhead for Nainital),
On arrival met at the station and drive to Pangot
(2½ hr.) OR drive from Delhi (7 ½
hours). Rest of the day free to visit Kilbury
and Pangot for nature walks. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 04: Nainital Excursion:
Day free to visit Nainital. You can go birding,
take a boat-ride in a lake or go horse riding
along the lake. You can visit China Peak or take
a joy ride in a cable car. Overnight at Jungle
Lore Birding Lodge.
Day 05: Pangot-Ranikhet:
Drive in the morning to Ranikhet (3 hr.). Day
free at Ranikhet to visit the bazaar, war museum,
handicrafts center or just go birding with our
guide. Overnight stay in Trishul Lodge.
Day 06: Ranikhet:
Day excursion to Kausani. Overnight stay in Trishul
Lodge.
Day 07: Ranikhet-Corbett
National Park
Drive to Corbett National Park (2.5 hr.). After
lunch, guided nature walk along the Kosi River
to familiarize with the surroundings. Overnight
at Tiger Camp.
Day 08: Corbett
National Park:
Early morning drive to the park for tiger tracking
and animal watch. Afternoon elephant ride in the
park (optional).
Day 09: Corbett
National Park-Delhi / onward journey
Morning and afternoon jungle safari into the national
park, In the evening after dinner transfer to
the station time to catch train for Delhi, O/N
stay on board.
Day 10 : Delhi/Departure:
Arrive Delhi in the morning on arrival met at
station and transfer to the hotel,In the evning
transfer to the airport time to catch flight for
onward destinations.
