Jim's Jungle Retreat :fantastic attention to detail - management who talked to us all the time, making sure we had everything we wanted and answering questions, comfortable themed rooms, clean and warm, with cushions embroidered with hornbills, much appreciated tray with kettle and tea and coffee; really comfortable outdoor furniture and good mattresses; lovely natural outdoor surroundings, very tasty and varied food, excellent swimming pool and a tiger-expert naturalist who told us a lot about the animals and birds. There were wonderful birds to be seen in the grounds of the resort, and outside we saw jackals, which we never saw inside the park. They showed a DVD documentary about tigers one evening that gave us a real insight into the plight of the tiger in India at the moment. Lovely place. Highly recommended.
