The Den Corbett

Spread over 13 acres of reserve forest land, surrounded on three sides by thick Sal forest hills and gentle murmuring Kosi River flowing down the other side along the whole length is the 'The Den'. The resort is concealed in thick mango grove garden that offers you and the jungle native animals hang ripe and luscious mangoes of various kinds in season. It has previously been the hunting ground of British in India, prior to the independence. The resort has tried and secures the history with in the cottages by renovating them and making them luxurious to suet the modern day to day needs.

40 sets in stone air-conditioned cottages with independent driveways and rooftops offering panoramic view of the jungle and Kosi River. Each cottage whether its leopards lair or Bear's Cave is delightfully different, built of stones with wood paneled walls, wooden flooring, a fire place and luxurious bathrooms. Bedrooms, are in muted colours with sensual fabrics and with spacious bathrooms, ensuring that guests enjoy the finest comforts and the ultimate in relaxation. Private deck with each cottage gives a chance to relax in natural surroundings over a cup of tea.

The Den is accessible by road and is about 300 Kms. (six hours drive) from Delhi via Moradabad, Kashipur and Ramnagar. From ramnagar the Resort is an exciting 28 Kms. drive through dense Sal forest. 11 Kms. From Dhangari (main entrance of Corbett Park), 90 Kms. from Nainital and 65 Kms. from Ranikhet hill Stations.
