Goonch/catfish Goonch is a giant catfish that can grow to a length of over six feet and can run to 250 lb, Is the biggest fish on Ramganga river. This species is widespread throughout Asia, but the largest specimens are usually reported from India. Goonch catfish are normally found in the fastest water in the river and at the top and bottom of the rapids where they meet the pool or in the whitest water .On Ramganga river the best places to find Goonch /Cat fish are Marchulla and Bhikyasen.

Day 1
On arrival Check-in at Wildlife resort. Fresh-n-up and time for lunch. Evening nature walk along with Kosi River.
Dinner & Over night at wildlife Resort.
Day 2
Early morning departs from wildlife resort by car/open Gypsy to Ramganga River with fishing guide and a packed meal. Whole day would be spent angling on the Ramganga River. The Ramgana River divided into four beats for fishing. 01 day permit allows you fishing in one beat only.Whole day fishing in search of Goonch/Cat Fish, Evening drive back to Resort for Dinner.

Day 3
Early breakfast and departs to Ramganga River for fishing (Goonch /Cat Fish) with packed lunch. Full day spend at Ramganga River. Evening back to Resort for Dinner.

Morning after breakfast checkout from the resort and then drive to Bhikyasen. Its small village area. Check-in at Guest House/Camp. After lunch fishing at Ramganga River in Bhikyasen
